One week post “insult,” which is what my vet calls it–snake or spider bite. I took her to the vet on Monday and will take her back next Monday. Some of the tissue has died and sloughed off or is in the process of sloughing off. Elle is feeling better now.

It looks as though much of the swelling has gone. Elle is one tough puppy. I hope she stays on the mend.

Thank you, Mzchief. She looks much worse today because the black spots are now gaping holes and they’re pretty deep. But she is feeling better–well enough to bark at but not yet chase a cat. That gives her great joy!
