Johnson Co. Gas Well Equipment Catches Fire
Trucks Damaged in Fire at Gas Well Site VIDEO
Updated: Fire near gas well causes more than $8 million damage
Question and comment from an email:
From the Star-Telegram story: Initial reports from the company indicate that the fire appears to have started in the vicinity of a piece of
equipment called a Blender.
My comment: firefighters like to know what chemicals are involved with fires. this is why there is community right to know and reporting requirements of chemicals on site at businesses, etc…….these things are filed with emergency response coordinators and the local fire chief.
Question: so what MSDS were filed with the local fire chief?
and what fire chief would send a crew in to battle a fire without knowing what types of thermal combustion by-products are to be expected…….so he can protect the firefighters?
