How many other tests are “bogus”? Are we talking about years of conniving with the gas industry to distort and withhold the truth? What would make anyone think that we will get the truth from the TCEQ now or in the future?
The TCEQ needs to be RUN OUT OF TOWN! Literally. We need INDEPENDENT TESTING!
The Mayor and council members who voted so negligently and irresponsibly should be the ones ran out of town. They did not listen to the people of our town and only served self interest and greed. It is time to reclaim our town.
The time for talk has passed – the welfare of innocent children hangs in the balance –
I still believe that exposure to multiple chemicals causes health effects, and that is some of the problems. Anytime you are exposed to toluene, benzene and numerous sulfides, it will effect your health. No research has ever been done on multiple chemical exposure and the effects. Drugs, yes, chemicals no. Not even OSHA or NIOSH or even the CDC have ever attempted this research and no one knows what the combined effect will do to individuals. All data is also based on healthy adult males, so children, pregnant women and people with underlying health conditions, numbers mean nothing. I'm speaking as a emergency responder with 32 years dealing with chemical releases.
