Wait. This is pretty neat that they're organizing so quickly, but what are they going to do with all those petitions? Texas doesn't have any kind of legislation that allows for voting by referendum. A petition in Texas basically means nothing. Are they going to show the companies and city how upset they are and expect them to care? Hopefully, city council will decide that this a huge issue and rezone the area.
That's because we're not a bunch of pushovers and unlike some other communities, we have the will and the means to fight. Remember DISH!!! Bash an elected official with health concerns, shame on you RRC!!!

Texas doesn't have legislation by the people for state legislation but if your a home rule town/city you do. FM Cares is taking advantage of Article 7 of the Flower Mound Charter. Hope that helps.
It is obvious that the petition drive is to gather names for the three candidates to use for the local election in May.
The petition does not mention any candidate's name. It is for a moratorium on a CCF and pipelines.
It is obvious that you feel threatened by residents banding together to fight for an issue in their town.
If you are from the Shiloh area, this should be familiar to you. This is exactly what you and Williams did when you banded together at your little "Round up" Bar B Q's at Circle R Ranch.

I have not heard of the "Shiloh group" and no, I am not threatened. If the petition list is given to any of the candidates the petition group does become a PAC. Why were Filadoro and Northern seen at serveral of the petition signing sights this past weekend? Since Filadoro represents ALL of us he needs to distance himself from any petition.
By the way, your signature of "Williams you can…." is uncouth and so low class. Though we had ONLY high class people living in Flower Mound. My mistake.
If you want to keep FM high class, why are you willing to open the town up to transient, largely undesirable people with a high rate of drug abuse and sexual deviants? Why open the town up to toxins and property devaluation?
First of all, I own my minerals and have decided the money isn't worth it. For that decision, I am constantly called a communist, radical, wacko. I have had a certain crazy from Shiloh e-mail me using profanity and telling me how un-patriotic I am.
Williams held their little rallies and got everyone all hyped up so they would come to council and personally attack those of us that don't want the pipelines and traffic in our neighborhood just so their precious little neighborhood will be spared. They signed, they knew when signing what gas drilling meant. Now they want to shove the traffic and crap that goes with it down our throats.
Williams won't even consider on-site recycling. They don't want it cutting into their profit margin. And we all know they said they would take waste from other drilling companies and communities. They won't do this for free. This will be a business for them.
On site recycling has many benefits. Less fresh water being used and less waste to be disposed of. Everyday more companies are popping up that have come up with systems. So yes Williams can kiss my "bodacious" bootie.
It's Filidoro, not Filadoro, if your going to slam, at least get your names right.
