They didn’t mention all the heavy meddling by Williams as they try to influence and even scare voters into voting for the incumbents. Williams wants to be sure that Texas remains wide-open to drillers rather than adopting Drill-Right Texas.
I just hope Shiloh Chris keeps blogging about me. I think his crazed, libelous rantings only help the voice of reason and prudence.

Last night Williams robo called the residents of Flower Mound. When the resident picked up the phone, they were automatically patched into a "Town Hall" Meeting. This is the second one in two weeks. You got this call whether you rsvp'd for the Town Hall or not! They are trying to "educate" the residents. Williams has sent out flyers, telling mineral lease holders that if Williams doesn't get their way, none of them will get their money. Jody Smith has nothing to run on but lies. After all these years in office, you think she could have used some of the good things she did instead of slinging mud at Melissa Northern. She needs to go!!!
Just a note….we do want to keep Mr. Filidoro on Council, he has consistently held the position that the petition should have been passed 'as is' with no modification and not delayed so Williams could go ahead and get their application, thereby essentially making the petition ordinance worthless. I didn't want him to get lumped in with the Mayor as an incumbent who should be voted out, he should not.
