Three drinking-water wells near a Chesapeake Energy gas well in Bradford County were found to be polluted with methane gas after the lid blew off one of the water wells last week.

"Chesapeake supplied the affected families with potable drinking water and installed a methane monitor in the basement of the affected home" – f'ing genious, this is like me punching Aubrey and then supplying him with a band-aid.

"Obviously, we're going to investigate this and monitor the situation very closely because gas-migration issues need to be taken very seriously because of the potential harm that could be done,"
What happens if people get killed? How will they hide that from public outrage?

You people worry too much. Don't you remember Chesapeake's mantra: "With Chesapeake we all win." Just trust them.

Im surprised CHK didn't spend a gazillion bucks fighting this. Usually, the response is, "We don't know what that shit is in your (fill in the blank) we just know we didn't do it. We'll wait for a decision from the TRRC before we take any action."

I thought "gazillion" was only used to describe the number of jobs that the barnett shale has created, or the sum amount of tax dollars received, thanks for the update. Oh, and the number of dollars Aruba execs make at the expense of other families real estate. Gotta love zero-sum economics, someone loses for someone else to gain.
