Arlington councilman dismisses constituents’ concerns about gas drilling with a gay joke
This article is brilliant! It includes a funny twist.
Okay, Mel, so just how is it that you are so familiar all these gay publications? Not that we care one bit if you read gay publications. That’s entirely your business.
About Sharon Wilson
Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

I was praying that I could have enough character to not pass that email on….my character was weakened when Mel welcomed my application for the Tomorrow Funds but then copied me on his joking attitude to the city council about my idea to apply for those funds to relocate renters and those in the mobile home park near the proposed Truman/Stadium site. Then my character was furthered weakened after the P&Z meeting Wednesday (which we were not allowed citizen comments and I signed a card to speak), a lady in the elevator wanted to tell me and Kimberly her story of how Mel back stabbed and voted the other way-when he originally said he was against the horse farm drill site at north Cooper…he even attended their strategy meeting and supposedly that hurt them later on.
I am signing this comment as the "No Character, White Lady City Council Rapper from Arlington" on youtube!

"Drill Baby, Drill" – Um, 2008 called, and they want their slogan back.

I guess we can add self-loathing to that list of Mel characteristics.

I would never question Kim Feil's character. I think she's a person of character, and I think she knows that by now. Sure are a lot of "anonymous" on this blog. I never said "drill baby drill." Never. Of course, one could say that is my view of the industry. But just for the record, I never used those "2008" words. For my view on the gay joke, go to DallasVoice.com and read my response to the editor. Every gay person I talked to see it as a joke and thinks its "hilarious." One gay friend reminded me it is not a "gay" joke, but a joke that uses gay sex to make its point.
PEACE TO EVERYONE
