Representatives of drilling groups said they had no idea that Obama would make natural gas his lead olive branch to the newly empowered Capitol Hill Republicans. But they were pleased that he did.

And, there’s an article in the Star-Telegram saying Fort Worth is out of room to drill so the drillers will have to move in on outlying areas.

Don't believe what FW city councilman Joel Burns said about "running out of room. Joel Burns is a liar. He's blowing smoke. There are already many permits filed that are not yet drilled. Plus, drillers already know the they can get waivers wherever they want. This is a tactic to take our eyes off the ball. Believe me there are plenty of places left to drill under the Moncrief administration. Joel is just trying to look like a good guy even though he sold out FW over and over, except for his own neighborhood.
Oh the poor baby sheep, makes me so sad.
O Baaama must go now. I hated him for rallying behind the TARP bailout before he was elected. I hated him for selecting Federal Reserve crony Timothy Geithner to be Secretary of the Treasury. Hated his executive order to close Guantanimo Bay a year after his first day in office because of course he failed to follow through. Hated his continuation of Predator drone attacks in Pakistan. Hated his moritorium on deepwater drilling that failed to do what it promised. Hated his Energy plan that called for opening up the entire Atlantic Coast from Delaware to the south tip of Florida for Deepwater Drilling. I could go on for days but I'll stop there because this unholy alliance with the CLEAN alternative of natural gas takes the cake. And anyone else find that New York Times article to be insultingly one sided? Was there like one sentence about water contamination being possible?!!? Well surprise smug hipster doofuses at the New York Times, the drinking water for your great city will soon be contaminated from Marcellus Shale Play.
