Arlington knows that ugly gives people cancer that’s why they love pretty drilling sites with wrought iron fences and lots of landscaping.
Arlington looks at other ways to clear the air besides testing at wells
The City Council appeared Tuesday to back away from conducting emissions testing at individual natural gas wells in favor of a program to reduce air pollution by regulating idling diesel trucks and on-site equipment.
Mayor Cluck says it costs too darn much to conduct air testing and see what really might be in the air. I don’t know what his excuse is for not requiring vapor recovery units but LOOK and all the pretty shiny sh*t around those drilling sites!!!
…surrounded by wrought-iron fencing with an 8-foot ornamental brick and stone entrance facing Cooper Street. The site is landscaped with native trees and will eventually be surrounded by organically treated drought-tolerant native plants selected by Martin, a member of the Arlington Conservation Council, to attract birds and wildlife.
Thank God it’s pretty! Ugly can cause cancer!

Landscaping drilling sites? It sounds like another variant of lip stick on a pig!

Martha Martin is a member of the Arlington Conservation Council? And yet, she agreed to gas drilling on her 40-acre horse farm that's been in her family for 6 generations??
