Titan Operating, one arm of the Barnett Shale Gas Mafia, is suing Flower Mound because they stuck to the rules by not allowing a variance to their drilling ordinance.

I watched this meeting in Flower Mound TV. I’m betting there is no way in hell the GAShole Gas Mafia wins this one.

They outright made open personal threats to the board. To which the board replied 5-0 for denial. Here's a hint Titan, try that at the next level and see what happens.
It should be written in to our O&G ordinance that any driller who sues the town over not getting their way should immediately have all existing permits revoked and future permit requests denied. All of this should be done on the grounds that these frivolous lawsuits cost the town money and clearly demonstrate the drillers arrogant disregard for proper permitting process. I'm astounded that these companies aren't getting their asses sued off and pray that we will have our day in court and they will pay for the blood on their hands.
Keep in mind that the "Justice" system in Texas (sometimes referred to that 3rd Branch of our guvment) is just as crooked as the other two, ie. the Legislative and the Executive. All crooked!
