You know how the Big Gas Mafia tells us the pipelines–even the ones built with that defective pipe–won’t blow up? Well, the Big Nuclear Mafia tells the same kinds of lies?
Guess what, Dear Readers! According to Greg Palast, who was the “lead investigator in several government nuclear plant fraud and racketeering investigations,” they are planning to build two new nuclear reactors on the Gulf Coast of Texas.
TOKYO ELECTRIC TO BUILD US NUCLEAR PLANTS
The no-BS info on Japan’s disastrous nuclear operators
by Greg Palast
New York – March 14, 2011
The Administration, just months ago, asked Congress to provide a $4 billion loan guarantee for two new nuclear reactors to be built and operated on the Gulf Coast of Texas — by Tokyo Electric Power and local partners. As if the Gulf hasn’t suffered enough.
The nuclear facilities must be certified that they will withstand seismic activity. But, all the Big Nuclear Mafia has to do to get certified is lie. Cutting corners saves expenditures and increases your bottom line, don’t you know? Does that sound familiar?
The industry does it all the time.
Palast and his team of investigators caught one in a lie at a facility in NY. And, the liars are the same ones who plan to work with Tokyo Electric Power to build the facilities in Texas.
It gets worse. You know how the Big Gas Mafia tells us the gas emissions are harmless? I can’t even summarize this part but I bet you can guess what’s coming. Just go read it HERE. Then think about what you can do to stop consuming so much.

After watching Tokyo's Nuclear Power Plants leaking all over Japan, hearing how the U.S Battleships are going further out to sea because of radiation in the harbor, I am not convinced that nuclear is the way to go.
How Japan is keeping the level of radiation leak hush, hush to it's citizens…it sounds like one lie leads to another.
The first is use less,
solar
wind…

NPR just painted a bleak picture of the radiation levels in Japan.

Uhm … we see how Japan's nuclear reactors fared with seismic activity in Japan. And we're supposed to believe them when they say their reactors will be able to withstand seismic activity here? This is like telling the turkey the axe is nice and shiny and won't hurt him — promise.

No nuclear. No coal. No oil. No natural gas. Glenn Beck said that it leaves us with wind, sun and cow farts.
