Can fracking be done safely? That would be a big no. But, Texas does not have a 1,000′ setback. It’s only 200′.
Oh, BTW, Syracuse, NY joins Albany and Buffalo in banning hydrofracking.

This good old boy reminds me of the anti-Tommy Lee Jones. He’s good but he erred on a couple of comments about Texas. I posted a correction to the NY website.
TL J was a good friend of my former partners – whose ranch was near his in San Saba. But oh my, what a fracking shil TLJ has become. . .
Don’s correction was near the target, but the issue in NY is not how many permits a town can/cannot issue – but whether they have the right to control gas wells via zoning – at all.
