William Kristol, oil, gas execs to speak in Dallas
Fox analyst William Kristol, oil and gas executive leaders and State regulators all scheduled to speak at TIPRO’s 66th Annual Convention in Dallas
The energy business is thriving and investments in the industry are up, said Justin Furnace, president of TIPRO. However, despite recent growth in production of oil, independent producers face a number of challenges ahead. Speakers at this year’s TIPRO Convention will provide updates on the latest state and federal issues along with insight from corporate leaders on what the coming year may bring for our business. With an agenda packed full of informative sessions, this year’s Convention is sure to be relevant, revealing and timely.
Maybe we need to form a welcoming committee.

Occupy is Marxist, eh? They were saying the “Bonus Army” in the Great Depression were communists, but they weren’t.
Now, Eminent Domain is socialist, when you use it to take private property for O&G facilities to benefit a Corporation’s profits. Let them pay fair market price like almost all other ventures.

I think a private foreign company using powers reserved for the state to take property owned by the citizens of that state for private corporate profit is FASCISM.

In Tx you only own your land until somebody with more money than you have claims they own it–AND, it’s not only O&G, there are toll roads, power plants, plower plants, cooling lakes, etc., etc.
