Australians make moral, social statement on fracking.
I belong to a community of one adult, one teen and one weenie dog and I declare myself nearly shale gas free. We are almost completely off the gas pipe. We only need to find an alternative for heating our water and we will be 100% shale gas free. Then we are putting up a sign.

It is great to see that the Australians get it! I wonder what my city would look like if people came out to express concern for the land, but at this point in time, it is difficult to convince them to give up one evening of tv programs to attend a single city council meeting. Arlington’s April 24th agenda is saturated with O&G items . Active citizen participation CAN make a difference. Imagine if 3,600 people showed up at City Hall – only 1% of the population. That alone could bring about amazing transformation.
