4.1M fracking earthquake in same area of East Texas

I knew there was an earthquake near Timpson, Texas last night because searches were leading people to my blog but the USGS had nothing on their site about it until after midnight.

It’s in the same area as the other quakes. Keep in mind that Texas receives Louisiana’s drilling waste for disposal and you can thank our governor for that.

Document the condition of your foundation regularly and please use common sense when discussing fracking earthquakes. A 4.1 is going to do a lot of what the media calls minor damage. Homeowners call it a disaster.

    We understand clearly that the process involved in shale gas extraction causes earthquakes, so when will our State government put a stop to it? There are too many of these quakes to keep up with in recent times.

    Texas is a “dumping ground state”. Don’t spend much money on a residential homestead in Texas–for many reasons, including high taxes and damages from many sources including O&G.
