I wanted to share a few photos that people in the Eagle Ford Shale sent me this week.
Above is a sign at a waste disposal site in Gonzales County. I wonder what’s in that stuff and what happens to it. Nothing is made clear by their website. There are numerous complaints on the TCEQ website about frack tank washouts. I’ve talked to several workers who were made very sick from doing these tank washouts.
This is a site in Nordheim, Texas one of the few small Texas towns in South Texas that has a drilling ordinance. The “wall” is right on the city limits line of the tiny community of Nordheim in southwestern Dewitt County, just near the Karnes County line. Some people from this community came to the town hall in Karnes City. Notice how close that site is to the house.
In this next picture, note the office for the Pecan Valley Groundwater Management District and its”good neighbor” right next door, the “Unite Resources, Inc. Oil and Gas Properties”. Convenience can’t be over rated.
