When fracking happens there are documented impacts to people and the environment.
- Federal government has both failed to respond and has walked away from these impacts.
- State regulators are guilty of malfeasance.
- Documentation of harm is denied and kept secret.

Sharon, your post on EarthBlog is excellent. Thank you.
Maybe someday the police and all their military backup will realize that kevlar doesn’t protect them, or their families, from a toxic industrialized environment.
When that happens, I hope they apologize to the Mi’kmaq and others, and thank them for looking out for their kids – while they were busy sighting their rifles on someone else’s.

That’s a nice thought. I hope it happens but I won’t hold my breath.

I just read that. I watch a really good video report about it. They suggested that the RCMP set the cars on fire because they have a history of doing that type of thing. Made me think of Ludwig.

Not surprising, seems they’re big on that up here.
