On Tuesday, January 7, EagleRidge will begin fracking in a Denton neighborhood only 250 feet from homes.
The invasion started while they were trying to enjoy their Sunday.
Update: And it started again this morning.

That has a familiar look to it.

Hope nobody in a 2.5 mile area isn’t pregnant. “The results suggest that exposure to NGD before birth increases the overall prevalence of low birth weight by 25 percent, increases overall prevalence of small for gestational age by 17 percent..”

There was a pregnant woman at the city council meeting pleading for her children and her unborn baby. After the meeting, they all just chit chatted in the hall like nothing had happened, surreal. I can’t drive this way. Hoping my path into Denton will be clear on the other routes. Praying for those families and the first responders that are so close by.

And their nightmare is just beginning. My heart goes out to them.
I love when “they” always say, “It’s just a short time of noise/dust/etc … then things calm down.”
Not even close to true — it’s like living next to a toxic industrial site. Daily trucks/noise/dust/toxicity/lies for years and years and years. Then they frack again, and it starts all over.
You will be lied to, patronized, made to feel crazy and irrational. You will develop strange health issues. You’ll forget what the word peace means.
Get out while you can.

Yes, CTT, I agree. I waited too long, I just did not know. Friends in Vintage. Please do whatever you have to do, but please get out during this. Stay with a family member, a hotel if you can. Once you can do it, please get out, just move. Use the public GIS viewer on the Texas Railroad Commission web site to find a new home. Get beyond the Muenster Arch or in some of those few places in the area that are somewhat safe. You can find them on the map. Use the legend to filter and figure out what is what. Keep in mind, there is always some idiot who will try to come in and revive a well. Old, abandoned wells, sell cheap. These guys are always looking to make a buck, and it is at your and your family’s health and expense. We are praying for you.
