Way back in 2011, I told you that Fracking takes some balls–big balls of steel that sometimes fall from the sky. This little known hazard of fracking created an entrepreneurial opportunity.
Now fracking has new, improved, high tech balls that ruin the entrepreneurial opportunity.
This part is worrisome:
Dissolve rates can be increased through the operator’s additive of choice.

Thanks for helping me understand the difference between frack balls and frack (sand) proppants…..so the frack balls isolate the frack lateral stages, and have nuthn’ to do with proppants that keep open those FRACtures so we can get the radioactive gases. Frack balls that don’t need milling/grinding up eliminate the costly phase of “drilling out the plugs”…that was the phase Chesapeake said they were in when they stunk up the Entertainment District by the Cowboys Stadium at the end of January in 2013 (never mind all the health reports and nuisance odors & no violations found)….I bet dissolving frack balls can’t clean up pesky “stale water” odors hiding behind those plugs/balls……..good grief!

They sometimes put a resin on the proppants. It’s advertised as a way to avoid disclosure. They have so many tricks.
