I was a speaker at Sul Ross U. in Alpine, TX on video editing once. The host’s husband was an astronomer at the nearby McDonald Observatory. At dinner that night, I waited for a lull in the conversation, then asked, “So – I hear astronomy is looking up.” One lady almost threw a roll at me. Took me decades, but I finally got to use that line. But I guess you had to be there.
