We are stuck with Craddick again.
Would somebody please explain to me, again, how brilliant the plan to put all the Texas Democratic Party’s efforts into a few House races was. Please tell me, again, how much good will come from that decision made by Matt Angle, political consultant, paid for by Fred Baron, millionaire lawyer, and enabled by Boyd Richie, Chair of the Texas Democratic Party. Exactly what have Texans gained, so far?
If all the candidates had been supported evenly and the TDP had actually promoted all the candidates, one or even two of the statewide candidates might have won their races. How might that have been different for us?
The statewide office holders are independent. They can act without having to worrying “that if craddick won, he’d slash and burn anyone who opposed him.” Democratic statewide office holders could do a lot for Texans and wouldn’t have to worry about covering their butts. Maybe they could actually do what is right, correct, and best for Texas.
Craddick might have still been speaker but Texans would have had a much better chance.
For all the patting himself on the back that Boyd Ritchie did last Monday, I don’t think things are turning out that well for Texans so far.

Five more Democrats in the House is less power for the Republicans. Sounds good to me.
Attack, attack, attack does not move Texas forward.
Yesterday is gone.
Get over it!

Hi TexasDem. You don’t know the difference between criticizing and attacking.
