Much of Texas has reached its saturation point from the heavy rains this spring that are continuing into the summer. Lakes, rivers, streams and ponds are overflowing and flash flooding is occurring on a daily basis.
This morning I too am at my saturation point. The grief in my heart overflows, causing flash floods of sorrow that threaten to overwhelm my effort to stay afloat in this chaotic existence.
+ 3,577 soldiers have lost their lives in the George W. Bu$h War for Profit
+ Tens of thousands and by some accounts hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians have lost their lives in this senseless, needless war of greed. For this sin, we will never be forgiven nor should we be.
+ Our constitution in shreds while the citizens it was meant to protect sleep walk through their lives stomping and crushing out the hope for our children’s future.
+ The rapid back peddling on hard won progress.
But every once in a while Hope Floats up–a life raft on this flash flood of grief.
John Dean calls for the impeachment of Dick Cheney
Tonight on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, former Nixon White House counsel John Dean called for the impeachment of Dick Cheney stating that Speaker Pelosi should reconsider her position on impeachment and start with Dick Cheney.
This is the only way to find a small measure of redemption. Impeach!

Before she impeaches him, maybe we should wonder why she wasn’t arrested for going to a country she had no right to be in and didn’t have permission to go. Oh yes she is the speaker and a Democrate so it is okay.
Oh MY!!!! Things in the U.S. have deteriorated more than I thought! I didn’t realize that U.S. citizens now have to ask permission to travel to another country.

Uh, Anonymous….quit listening to the neocon propaganda. Syria is not off limits to U.S. citizens like, say, Cuba. It is not a crime to go there!
And the Speaker of the House, WHO REPRESENTS A BRANCH OF THE GOVERNMENT EQUAL TO THE EXECUTIVE, has a perfect right to talk to whatever world leader she wishes, except someone that we are at war with. (An actual declared war, not Bush’s wishful thinking.) We aren’t at war with Syria, dim bulb!
