From Team Noriega:
It’s Halloween and tonight millions of children (and many adults) across Texas will don costumes in celebration of this festive day.
Yet when I think about putting on costumes, I also think about a different kind of “dressing up.” On May 1st, 2003, George W. Bush put on a flight suit and landed on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln for a photo op. Of course, President Bush isn’t the only one who likes to wear costumes — John Cornyn has played “dress up” for years, serving as the #1 cheerleader of this administration’s failed policies.
Next Thursday, the President is coming to Texas to cheer on John Cornyn (remember George W. Bush was a cheerleader too) at a fundraising event to pay back Cornyn for his endless support. And though it’s Halloween, we’re not afraid of George W. Bush or John Cornyn.
That’s why we’re launching our own fundraising drive.
Don’t let President Bush and his #1 cheerleader scare us away with their large fundraiser — help us fight back by contributing today!
