You can join the rest of us regular folks at a chili supper hosted by King’s opponent Charles Randolph.
In response to Mr Kings fund raising activities that will take place Wednesday November 28, 2007 at the Decatur Civic Center for those who can afford it, I offer the rest of the residents of Wise and Parker Counties an alternative.
My wife Susan and I cordially invite each and every citizen to share a simple meal with us Wednesday November 28th, 2007. We will have Chili, hot dogs and Frito Pies at the Decatur Senior Center located at 1200 North Miller Street between the hours of 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. It is our belief that as a citizen you should not have to pay these contributions just to talk to your elected representative.
So join us for a little conversation, fellowship and exchange of ideas on how we can make this a better state to live in. Share with me your concerns and hopes and together lets start to make a change for the better of all Texans and not just the one who can afford it!
The dinner is free but a free will contribution would be accepted. Also, in the spirit of the holidays and our responsibility to our fellow citizens I hope each will bring either a non perishable food stuff or a can good for a donation to WARM.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope that you can joins us in this effort to show people there are better way to do things. Hope to see you Wednesday and please, please forward this to as many people as you can. We’re making lots of chili and hot dogs and we don’t want any leftovers!
