Bethany finally getting fresh water
Since 2003, residents have had to rely on bottled water, since their tap water was deemed unsafe for drinking, contaminated by hazardous chemicals. In the next three weeks, a water line that will connect the seven families on County Road 329 to the Panola-Bethany Water System should be in place.
I agree with Rev. Hudson! The Texas Railroad Commission is not monitoring disposal wells properly or sometimes at all.
