Hey! Let’s all run! Qualifications? You don’t need no stinkin’ qualifications!
Update:
Per DMN: No Politician Left Behind (Hee hee!)
With Kay Bailey Hutchison expected to head home to Texas to run for governor, the list of folks looking to move to Washington is growing.
The latest name — Michael Williams, railroad commission chairman, joins a rumored list that inlcudes Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, former candidate for governor John Sharp, state Sen. Florence Shapiro, former Texas secretary of state Roger Williams, Houston Mayor Bill White, and RR commissioner Elizabeth Ames-Jones.
And oh, yeah, Gov. Rick Perry.
With so many candidates lugging heavy state government resumes during a year that the Ledge is session, it might be worth staking out a prime seat in the gallery. The games are about to begin.
