We have been raped in regards to gas drilling. What a corrupt circus it continues to be. Lon Burnam is the only politician, at the State level, that I ever hear complaining about it. Have the other ones been paid off, or is because I live and work in Lon’s district that I only hear of his comments?

From what I hear Lon is a good one! And be it known if you are getting royalties, you are being screwed–it’s just a matter of how much.
I always suspected this was happening. How would anyone know if they are reporting the correct production totals unless you had DFW’s money to hire someone to watch out for you. Where I live, most are signing leases and thinking they are going to get lots of money. I have been telling them you will never know if you are being paid correctly. I thank God everyday that I own my mineral rights and have chose to keep them to myself and never ever sign! The gas companies can kiss my bootalicious butt!
CHK has three salt water disposal wells on DFW Airport. They are trying to get permission to haul off lease waste water on the airport. This is typically CHK. Since they can’t get new disposal wells in FW they are trying to get the airport to allow additional waste to be trucked in from there other properties. Good thing it will still require the Cities of Dallas and FW to approve it. Keep an eye out for these guys.
