Here’s a letter from Dick Ross who has been trying to get testing on a land farm across the street from him to TRC Director of Oil and Gas Division:
Tommie Seitz
Director
Oil and Gas Division
Texas Railroad Commission
Mr. Seitz
According to Debra Ravel, prior to June 2009, the Texas Railroad Commission has never requested a COMPLIANCE TEST ON SOIL CONTAMINANTS UNDER SWR 8, 2005 EDITION!
Since 2005, the RRC has issued over 15,000 drilling permits in Tarrant, Johnson and Hill county alone.
Rule 8 guidelines clearly state the chemicals allowed and disallowed. It is stated in rule 78 and 98 the procedures for closure inspections on Minor Off Landfarming permits.
The Texas Railroad Commission is charged with the mission of PROTECTING THE CITIZENS OF TEXAS, SAFETY! Why haven’t you found it necessary to ever do RANDOM TEST to Protect our SAFETY?

The RRC is NEVER going to do any testing that could even possibly show that an O&G operatior is doing something wrong or not good to the public–NEVER, NEVER! If you ever get the them to do testing, the results will be slanted, skewed or latered to appear "low concentratin", not harmful, etc, etc.
