Denton Neighbors Get Tabled Again

If City Council tables this issue enough times people will quit showing up for the meetings and they can go ahead and pass it.

But…Ut oh! Looks like Range isn’t paying the City of Denton royalties on other wells.

Driller, city at odds already
The city sued Range Resources in July 2008, saying the company shorted the city at least $400,000 by miscalculating royalty payments from gas produced at three Denton Airport wells.

Range Resources and two other companies named in the lawsuit deny wrongdoing and say the lease at issue is ambiguous.

That almost never happens.
