I posted about the gas well blowout in Fort Bend where the gas was shooting out of the wellhead so forcefully and blowing up so high that they made the area a no-fly zone. That’s methane and hydrocarbons from the formation shooting into our atmosphere. (Way to go on reducing greenhouse emissions!)
Well, they got the dang thing capped finally! It only blew like that from August 18th through August 24th.
