Pennsylvania’s DEP issued a press release today giving Cabot a “notice of violation” and orders to clean up the spill–as if that’s possible. But there is not one mention of Halliburton, the contractor doing the fracking. In fact, Halliburton has hardly been mentioned at all. I find that strange.
Halliburton was the contractor doing the fracking.
Halliburton‘s equipment failed during the fracking causing the 3 spills.
Halliburton‘s toxic frack gel spilled, killed the fish and contaminated who knows what all.
So, why no mention of Halliburton?
