Don’t forget the meeting Monday at 7:00 PM in DISH, TX.
I can already see the industry spin coming. They’ll claim that the DISH, Texas study showing “amazing and very high” levels of toxins in the air is an isolated, unique case. Of course we already know another study was recently released showing similar results in a different area of the Barnett Shale. And Arlington residents are sick of natural gas in their area.
Here are just a few of the compressor stations from around North Texas. It’s DISH all over the place!
We have an important, peer reviewed study by SMU professor, Al Armendariz, that found half of all our smog comes from drilling activity.
There’s a video clearly showing the fugitive emissions that occur at every stage of natural gas development.
But the deep denial that feeds unbridled greed continues.
What will it take? When will it stop? When will someone do something?
