Now the TCEQ is testing the air in Denton, Wise, Tarrant and Parker Counties. YAY! I hope they do a good job and put the interest of citizens over that of industry.

Here is a picture of the packed meeting room Monday night in DISH, TX.
Here’s a picture of Peggy Heinkel-Wolfe talking to Tim Ruggiero of Wise County who traveled more than 30 miles to attend the meeting.
Peggy quoted him in her Denton Record Chronicle article.
One Wise County resident traveled more than 30 miles to learn more about living close to facilities, after he said Aruba Petroleum used about 5 acres of his 10-acre parcel to start a new well.
“With all these health concerns, I don’t understand why there are millions of acres they can’t drill in Alaska because of the elk or caribou, but they can drill 400 feet from my little girl’s trampoline,” Tim Ruggiero said. “Why is that permitted?”
I’m against drilling in the Alaskan Wilderness but he makes and excellent point and no one could answer his question. Here is a picture of the Aruba drilling rig
Please note all those 50 pound bags of chemicals.
