She is right. No one deserves to be stomped or “treated this way.”
However, Exxon, Shell, EnCana, Chesapeake and essentially every single BIG GAS and BIG OIL company on this planet stomps on landowners regularly so let’s not pretend we didn’t see this type of retaliation coming.
I am very sorry for his suffering just as I am sorry for all the suffering caused by his employer.

No one from oil and gas industry deserves to be stomped and beaten? Oh, I don't know… many people have suffered far worse injuries for lesser crimes. Justice is often cruel.
