Audubon Society considers allowing oil and gas drilling at sanctuary in Vermilion Parish
I’ve got a better idea! Raise industry permitting fees and fines, add a surcharge on profits and use that money to stop the erosion in the sanctuary.

Okay, well see, since that makes sense, and is friendly to the sanctuary, it won't happen. They should do it though. If nothing else, maybe they could use the extra money to spruce up the place and start some kind of conservation fund. But that's just me.

I'm thinking this is very sad.

It's unbearably sad! One thing I've noticed is that birds don't hang around well sites much. No matter because you can't hear them anymore for the compressors.

WAJ. Just another eco group that will sell out like the rest of the greedy residents. Don't ever trust an eco group either.

Hey, I have a idea ExxonMobil could gain some positive PR if they paid for the restoration. Posted profits year after year show they could afford it. Maybe we should contact company and lobbist and suggest they do the right thing. It could work. Ok, I must have dozed off for a minute what a crazy dream.
