Williams drops plans for disposal well near Bartonville
It appears the neighbors in Argyle near the 7 acres where Williams Production Co. planned a disposal well dodged that bullet. But natural gas drilling produces massive amounts of toxic waste and it has to go somewhere. So now we wait to see who are the next unlucky ones.
Before you start thinking that Williams listened to the opposition from the community: Nearly all disposal wells are opposed by the community and the vast majority are approved anyway. When Williams first announced their plans for this well, I was told by someone who looked at the Texas Railroad Commission map that the other producers in the area would protest because the planned well was too close to their production. Injection wells can have a negative impact on production of gas wells.

I think the Stargate Sport Horses facility would be a great place for this, it's right down the street. Then we can demonstrate to XOM what this does to the CEO's property value. Not that he would care, he probably buys a couple of these facilities a week. Hey, maybe you could buy one for Tim, I heard his place was all….oh nevermind, there I go, getting all aggressive and stuff…remember the steps…count to 10…1….2…3…4
