Energy & Commerce Committee Investigates Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing

NATURAL GAS: BJ Services acknowledges violating EPA fracturing agreement (Friday, February 19, 2010)
Two of the world’s largest oil-field services companies have acknowledged to Congress that they used diesel in hydraulic fracturing after telling federal regulators they would stop injecting the fuel near underground water supplies.
Halliburton and BJ Services acknowledged to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in January 2008 that they had used diesel in the controversial process that has expanded access to vast natural gas plays.

"Chairman Henry A. Waxman …sent letters to eight oil and gas companies that use hydraulic fracturing to extract oil and natural gas …requesting information on the chemicals used in fracturing fluids and the potential impact of the practice on the environment and human health."
Lets hope Chairman Waxman will here both side of the story, not just BIG GAS. To these ends I've emailed the entire House Committee, requesting they speak to Mayor Tillman from Dish texas.
