Good Grief!
I am so damn sick of Aruba Petroleum! Sick, SICK, SICK!!!
I do not want to blog about Aruba Petroleum today. I want to blog about the methane mapping but there is ANOTHER spill happening at the Ruggiero’s place and it’s headed toward the Denton Creek watershed.
The EPA did hear the SOS and they sent a contractor to the rescue. But, tonight, when the Ruggieros called him to report the spill, he said to call the Texas Railroad Commission and Aruba.
At 8:45PM, I reported it to Texas Railroad Commission emergency (512) 463-6788 phone number. I can’t report it to the Aruba Petroleum emergency phone number because there isn’t any emergency number posted.
We know the produced water is toxic because it was tested from the OTHER SPILL.

I do believe it is a regulation in Texas all gas well have to have an emergency number posted on their do not smoke DANGER signs.
If all else fails call the owner of the land. H.W. number is listed. His cattle drink from that creek and he might be able to get a hold of the person who writes the royalty checks. H.W. does love his cattle and if he thought they are in danger he might make the call.
I think Aruba only had 18 months to finish all well on Wright lease so that means another 9 months to go. The good news for you Tim and Christine I have heard Aruba has leased land in Alvord, bad for Alvord.

When there is an 'event' of some type that is not obvious negligence, I would initially contact the emergency number (if there was one, but there isn't – the sign doesn't even have the RCC well site number on it)
This is obvious negligence. I don't want Aruba to come out here and simply turn the valve to shut it, I want them to be held accountable for their negligent actions. This is not the first negligent act on their part. God only knows the kind of crap they are getting away with on the other 15 wells on this 953 acre lease and everywhere else they drill.
