When I continue to hear of this story, I can't help but read it as a father. Whether or not there is enough benzene to actually cause cancer is anyone's guess. As a father, I'm not going to gamble with my daughter's life and someone else should not be allowed to play a deadly game in the name of jobs for a fuel that will be gone in a few decades. I don't know this family, but I do know what most father's will do for their daughter's. In my mind, this family would have been justified to physically remove anyone who willfully attempts to harm them. Just because the threat happens over 5 years instead of 5 minutes, it is cloaked, and in this case, legal, does not make it acceptable.
I would walk through the fires of hell and take on every last person on the face of earth to protect my daughter. I suspect this one would as well. Aruba and others like you, be careful. Harm our daughters, now or in the future, and feel our wrath. Take them away from us and understand what it will be to fight someone who has nothing to lose. Don't make it our life mission to make sure you don't harm others.
