Pollution plagues a family in the small community of Allison in eastern Wise County.
About Sharon Wilson
Sharon Wilson is considered a leading citizen expert on the impacts of shale oil and gas extraction. She is the go-to person whether it’s top EPA officials from D.C., national and international news networks, or residents facing the shock of eminent domain and the devastating environmental effects of natural gas development in their backyards.

The fact that the family remains in the area of all the toxins tells the true story. If it was a threat to their health, they would leave.
Nothing is ever told about the $30,000 paid to the family or the clean up done by the oil company.
It is just another recruited victim being used by Earthworks to further their agenda to stop oil and gas drilling in the U.S.A.
The Tides Foundatin donates to the group. Glen Beck covered the Tides Foundation in one of his series.

Yep, that $30K fixed everything. What an ass. When you're ready to climb out from under your Anonymous rock and post your name, I'll be more than happy to engage you in debate. But you won't, because bully's with bulldozers just like you never do.

Anonymous, are you going to pay off the Ruggiero's mortgage so that they don't ruin their credit if they walk away from their home? I'm sure a homeless shelter would be a great environment for their daughter. You steal her horse pasture, then her home, and ruin the future they were trying to create for her. That's just great. How about if you just do it right because it's the right thing to do instead of having to be forced to and getting defensive when you're exposed for what you are.

Keep up, half of the people on here are Conservatives, including myself, your "leftst" rant doesn't hold water here. So by definition, if I show up at your house with plutonium you should just move, give me a break.

What??? That comment is leftist??? Since when?
Sorry but you're seriously mistaken.

I was referring to Anon 7:24 AM, sorry.

You're kidding, right? Is today opposite day? Glenn Beck is as right wing, conservative as they come. He is to the right of Limbaugh. It's no wonder this state is so screwed up. People just automatically label anything they find repugnant as "leftist" whether it's the truth or not.

I was serving proudly in the U.S. Navy when I first voted for Ronald Reagan. I voted for him twice. I voted for George HW Bush and George W. Bush – twice. I absolutely abhor the government being in my life anymore than necessary-and believe me, they are in my life WAY more than necessary. I am adamantly opposed to abortion, pro-gun, pro-U.S. Constitution.
That said, because of the acts of a few of my so-called fellow conservatives- Dick Cheney, for example, my family is now subjected to the theft of our property, chemical spills, liars, cheats and thieves and having moronic arguments with the likes of anonymous 7:24.
It's a shame that common decency and respect for other's health, personal property and way of life have to be politicized.
I am in this fight for the rest of my life-and I am willing to help those in similar situations as ours-but I don't need to ask, nor care about their political affiliations.
But I will, however, not engage in any conversation, much more debate with anyone who isn't brave enough to use their own name. If you hide behind Anonymous, you have no voice, and I have no ears.
anon 7:24, if you want to come out from the darkness, then we can talk.

It is disheartening and sad so many people have not physically gone to the Ruggieros' home, or other places which have been affected by gas drilling to investigate. Pictures and videos can not accurately show the startling distruction of the Ruggieros' property, or other areas I have gone to and observed.
Why any individual would think poison in the air, water, or soil is acceptable behavior is odd, and actually ill-moral. As with allot of folks-if it is not directly happening to them they do not care. Air, water and food will get to all of us at some point if drilling does not become regulated properly. No matter how much money the gas company gives you it will not save you.. Where is that cattle video when ya' need it!
Tim and Christine are lovely people and I admire their courage to continue forward. We should be thanking them as the outcome of what they are doing, with others, maybe protecting allot of us……even anonymous 7:24

What happened to the second series planned for the Messenger? Tim, check out Green Trackiing Library for the real scoop on TXsharon's and other radical left wing envirnomentalists' agenda. The agenda is what will impact all of our lives. That is the big picture.

WOW! those earthworks folks sure don't make much money! some of them don't make any money at all for what they do! i guess they're all super dedicated to trying to get regular folks a better deal against these barnett shale bullies.
thanks for posting that green tracking library information, anonymous. GO TXsharon and ogap and earthworks!!!

Maybe some bully had a little talk with the WCM Editor? Undoubtedly, millions of jobs will be lost and our local economy will just get crushed under the the weight of those testing results.Who knows…..Sharon is a big girl, and can speak for herself-and often does, if you're paying any attention.
I'm curious as to what 'agenda' Sharon or anyone else associated with Earthworks/TX OGAP has that has anything to do with what we got going on here at our place?
(by the way, earthworks didn't ask me my political affiliation when I gave them a large donation. If you've been keeping up, you'll see I already openly declared my politics for those of you who think it's somehow related)
Can you explain to me what the so-called 'left wing agenda' has anything to do with the bubbling reserve pit, the multi-thousand gallon produced water spill, the leaking frac tanks or the 2 months', 24/7 worth of diesel exhaust being blasted at us?
WAITED for us to leave for work before cutting through our pipe fence, let the horses out, bulldozed 4 acres of property, spilled shit everywhere, urinated anywhere they felt like it, brand new condensate tanks pouring out emissions, reserve pit overflowing with pollutants and dangerous chemicals in it, dumped a tanker's worth of produced water on the side of the road, vent massive amounts of methane and other shit into the air right next to our home……..
Good thing for us that Aruba Petroleum is such a Good Neighbor. I couldn't imagine what things would be like around here if they didn't care so much.
Aruba's PR firm, who is apparently permanently affixed to this blog, is also doing a great job. Who knows how many thousands of dollars Aruba pays them to…do nothing. C'mon, where's the spin? Where's that Good Neighbor bullshit at?
Aruba had time to power-wash the condensate tanks, but not enough time to seed the land where they put the pipeline through. Aruba had time to re-gravel 'their' pad, but not enough gravel was left over to repair my driveway.
Maybe the Green Tracking Library will explain it all.

Give to an eco group if you need or want a friend! When the money runs out, the friend will ask for more money. Typical. Now, you tell me how are we gonna get some relief from this onslought of O&G that is ruining our lives??? Just give me an answer? What eco group has done any good?? Name one that has produced any results, other than becoming a friend!
