The spin machine is in full force as the news of toxins in the bodies of DISH residents rocks the Barnett Shale. According to Channel 11 (news video), the state says is needs more study.
You can continue to study and you will continue to get the same results. This is simply stalling to give industry more time to pollute us.

I hope Channel 11 isn't spinning!
It's nice to know the state is continuing to study the finer points of our poisoning.
If we went to the doctor and the doctor ran some tests-and those tests came back with…issues of concern, the doctor is likely to run another set of tests. What he or she is clearly NOT going to do is continue to run more tests, and 'study' them endlessly, all the while informing the patient that "there's some concern, but we need to do more study."
So, the corruption is evident and the crimes against people will continue- unless We The People demand a different course of action.
I am ready for a different course of action. We have put our heart and souls into the new ordinances we will be presenting to Denton City Council 4/20/10. The word has gotten back to us they have been working on drilling ordinances since the first week of Dec. and changes have been made to get the city council approval.
Now stop right there, no citizens, chemical engineers, environmental services, or citizens groups have been asked to help draft these amendments. The city planner and city attorney have drafted the new amendment and I see a big problem when the common citizen how lives in the neighborhood is not asked what do you think is best for your neighborhood and children? Show up be loud and be proud. Stop the nosense of government not listening to what we need, want, and demand.
