It’s one thing if our rabid consumerism lifestyle harms us but it’s something much worse when our actions harm innocent animals. Dogs don’t care about driving cars or buying cheap plastic crap at Wal-Mart. All they want is to be fed and have their bellies rubbed once in a while.

I find this a pretty depressing outlook on life and if it is true we can surely rise above it.
