Four-day-old pipeline leak seeps into soil, drainage
Crews have been working to contain barrels of light-end crude oil that leaked into soil and a drainage ditch near Old Sour Lake Road on Monday.
As many as 750 barrels might have escaped from a broken pipeline, said Ann Justice, East Texas district supervisor with Sunoco Logistics, the company that owns the pipeline between Kolander and Moore roads.
All pipelines leak eventually.
