An Evangelical Crusade To Go Green With God

Simply trusting corporations to go about their business without polluting the water streams and without destroying ecosystems is really a naïve and utopian view of human nature. It’s not a Christian view of human nature.

Listening, Mr. Forson? The founding fathers often lamented how Capitalism would only work if mankind were held to Biblical standard (note I did not say that they said everyone had to be a Christian, in fact they wanted quite the opposite). However, in man's fallen nature, as soon as we stopped holding ourselves to those high moral standards, greed entered and without oversight, industry is free to run amuck. The question we need to ask ourselves before drilling any well anywhere is….1) Is this respectful of the people living in the area who will be most affected? 2) Can it be done at this location in a manner that is respectful to the creation (however you believe it was created, we can agree we ALL need it in a pure form to survive). Glad to see Christian leadership taking a stand on this issue.

I agree that we need some kind of moral standards because what is happening now certainly is not moral. So glad to see this news.
