Well, it’s no big surprise that Williams has decided to stay at the Jeter Road facility in Argyle, Texas. Even those who fell off the turnip truck last night know a stinker when they hear one so I doubt there is much surprise to learn that the promises made by Williams were just so much smoke up the resident’s backside. Barnett Shale residents have learned to invest in fire proof drawers.
What is surprising is that Williams met with just two of the neighbors who are impacted. What’s even more surprising is that those two neighbors kept mum about the meeting and decision.

Williams next move will be to add more to this site. Williams, what I want to know is when those of you who make these decisions and choose money over the health and safety of those around you, IF, you make it to Heaven, yes, I said IF, what will you tell God when he asks you to explain your actions on earth? Well Father, there was a lot of money to be made on earth, and we lobbied real hard and spent millions of dollars to get the laws written in our favor, because we knew that eventually, people would figure out that we were poisoning their air, water, and destroying their health. If we had the law of MAN on our side, we knew that it would make it real hard for these people to fight, because we would just tie them up in court and make them hire lawyers and spend money that we knew they didn't have. We started in the more remote places and in neighborhoods where people and small churches really needed that money to feed themselves and pay their bills. Yes Father, we bulldozed your beautiful trees, poisoned your life sustaining water, but we made money. After all, those people are just obstacles, collateral damage, they should have know that they didn't deserve to be safe in their homes or think they or their children wouldn't get sick. What's a little cancer when you compare it to the money we made, after all, they probably won't live long enough to prove it. Guess what Williams, and all you other operators who choose to roll into our neighborhoods and destroy all we hold dear, WE WILL stand up for ourselves and those who can not, WE WILL fight you. Shame on you, where are your morals, and sense of decency and right or wrong? SHAME ON YOU! Jana DeGrand, Unincorporated Argyle, Denton County, Texas, Unites States of America, taking a stand for 5 years now.

I'm telling you until we all get together and start fighting on a federal level and force the state level to change we are going to keep hearing the same stories about gas companies ruining our lives.
Texans for Responsible and Accountable Energy Development is taking it to the EPA and TCEQ in August and letting them know if you don't reform everthing is on the table to include a lawsuit.
If enough people stand up and fight together we can change how thing are done.
I am also a member of a neighborhood group and admire all the work that is done in the trenches but as small groups we are just a few gnats buzzzing around a big ole jackass and annoying it.
I need help this weekend passing out flyers and organizing Texans for Responsible and Accountable Energy Development so we can take it to "the man".

not too neighborly for neighbors to engage in a secret meeting to discuss activities that will effect all neighbors. this is how they win by divide and conquer.
neighbors must stick together.
