Workers have shut down flow in an energy pipeline after a blast early this morning near Sealy forced Austin County officials to warn nearby residents to stay inside and avoid creating sparks.
The road are closed and residents who can’t go home were advised to go to the high school. There are no injuries, so far.

Are you fracking kidding me, it's a TX SUMMER and they asked the residents to leave their AC off and their windows closed. Please, God please, keep an eye on the elderly, and the young children to prevent heat stroke.

Ah, another one of those "perfectly safe" gas pipelines blows out. One report said it was a 36 inch pipeline, so it would have been a huge fire if it had ignited.
