The EPA will be in Arlington Monday to hear our comments on how they should rewrite their air regulations for oil and gas air pollution. The background and all the information is HERE.
You can bet that industry will turn out huge numbers of their employees to speak against regulating oil and gas. Also the people who are manipulated into believing that regulation means loss of prosperity will also be there. They are calling it an EPA power grab and they are trying to portray this as a state’s rights issue. This is an INDUSTRY FUNDED organization that exists solely to dish out propaganda. You can read about this organization on Source Watch. Koch Industries is heavily involved. (SEE National Transportation Safety Board report on Koch Industries from the comments.)
The other important event next week is a public meeting featuring Dr. Theo Colborn and Wilma Subra hosted by the Fort Worth League of Neighborhoods.
