This video is very sad and so very true.
I have respect for ProPublica and Abrahm Lustgarten's articles on the subject of Hydraulic Fracturing but it still infuriates me how much debate exists over whether there is a casual relationship between natural gas drilling and groundwater contamination. Even if the technology exists to drill safely so long as the industry is on the honor system they'll never do the right thing. The reality will continue to be the worst case scenario as long as its unregulated and as long as regulatory fines continue to be a joke for a multi-billion dollar industry. And we're not even talking about air emissions and in DFW in 5 years gas drilling smog forming emissions now equal all of the cars in DFW put together. That is INSANE! There's something you can't tell me wasn't caused by natural gas drilling.
I'm glad my Momma saw it, because now she knows what is happening all over the states right now.
