Kudos to the Mayor of Bartonville for trying to protect his citizens from property value loss due to natural gas development. Runner Susan has a video of the Bartonville Mayor admitting that “property valuations have taken a decline”. Way to go, Mr. Mayor, for trying to protect your citizens! I do think you are starting to get the picture.

It is a waste of our money and efforts to build and live in nice homes in Texas. Any number of things can move in on you and ruin your home, including O&G, toll roads, sewer plants, wind farms, rock crushers, etc. In Texas anything goes and you (the resident) has no help. And on top of that we have these overbearing and burdensome property taxes!!
