For future reference:
When mothers take time away from their families to address you about their concerns for the health of their children due to the natural gas development a few hundred feet from the school, and when professional people take time away from their busy schedule and families to present information that you need to keep children safe, don’t watch the football ball game while they are talking.

It's a conditioned response. Three years and three superintendents ago, some parents went ape-shit about the Homecoming dress code and got Argyle into the national headlines over dirty dancing.
I long for those frivolously stupid days.
Perspective, eh?
I am personally offended by the lack of respect given to the concerned citizens of Argyle. My children are students there 1) at the Intermediate 1) at Hilltop Elementary and both children were ill on Friday directly correlated to the Whitehead Well.
We have a choice in Argyle. The chemicals go the High School and those children get sick. Or the chemicals go to the Intermediate School, or if the wind is blowing a little east to the Elementary school.
I want the name of this School Board Representative so he may be publicly humiliated by his actions.
If I ruled this world he would be tied to a stake in the square wearing nothing more than his tightie whities so we could throw rotten tomatoes at him. Or even better, we'll put him down wind of Whitehead Well for 8 hours and see how he feels.
This lack of respect tells us: The health of our children means less to the school board than a DUMB game played by people who make millions of dollars.
Most of the members listened with rapt attention. One appeared to be surfing the net, one never looked up, and one was watching the ball game.
